Every prompt will center around the subject of alcohol including its effects, or the people affected by it. Read the prompt and finish the story. As you will see below the prompt is a file you can download. Download this file, print it out and write your story, or download the file, fill in the story, and save it.

Now write your story based on these prompts and see if you can come up with a good surprise ending. There are no wrong answers. All you want to do is let your mind wonder, use your imagination, and let the words flow.

  1. Josh and Julie left the party hours after most of the guest had already gone. Because Josh hadn’t been drinking for the last hour or so, he thought driving home wouldn’t be a problem. But it had rained, and the temperature dropped, making the roads slick and dangerous. Julie who only had one drink all night, wanted to drive, but Josh wouldn’t hear of it.
